Room was large and staff affable. We appreciated our time here...

staff was very nice and helpful
I just came from a Best Western in Salem and paid the same price for a much nicer updated facility along with better continental breakfast and great coffee 24/7. Windmill Inn was a dump and it’s over priced. We just wanted to get out of there as fast as we could. I will not be returning to Winmill Inn.

The staff.
The hallways smelled musty with a hint of cinnamon spray.

The staff was excellent and very helpful
The lock on the room door required a little fiddling with the key card. You not only had to put it in, but you had to push it up also. It took us a while to figure out the trick. Also, pillows were a little worse for wear.

It was easy to find on line and book on line. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I don't sleep well in most hotels, but the bed was amazingly comfortable! I came for a wedding and to visit my son. He had to do wedding stuff most of the day, so I spent the day in the room until he was available again - enjoyed the many tv channels I don't receive at home and the comfort of the room. I was concerned of another review I read prior to my stay that the 'door' traffic could be heard frequently - - I did hear one door nearby close, but I didn't find it a distraction in the least. Very lovely place to stay.q
If I had to complain about anything, it would be there wasn't a lot of 'protein' like scrambled eggs and bacon that I'm used to at other breakfasts, but there were plenty of choices of what they did have available, and the waffles were amazing as waffles usually are!

It was the loudest toilet I have ever heard. It would wake me up when used in the night.

If you ever have a chance to upgrade your room toilets - not just in disabled accessible rooms - please choose ones with more height. I could hardly get down and up from the one in my room, no wonder it appeared that the nearby towel bar had been reattached a few times for people who needed to use it as a grab bar.

We choose the Windmill because of the high ratings and it lived up to it's reputation. We only stayed one night on our way to Reno and would highly reccommend it. Access to I5 is great. The staff was great. They have a continental breakfast, but we ate at Elmers, which is right accross the parking lot. The room was bigger than we expected.

Good value and is dog friendly
Electronic door for outside access was not working properly. This was the second time that has happened at this Windmill. A minor inconvenience but should not happen

Great value for money: not the cheapest place in town, but moderate, and you get a lot of clean and amenities for your dollar.
They received my reservation based on my Booked.net session, but the Booked.net price didn't carry through to their system. When I explained that Booked.net gave me a specific price, they accepted it and overrode their own price.
